Patient Reviews

I think Dr Carpenter is a wonderful doctor. He did my husbands knee replacements and he has had great results. I’ve seen him in the past for my knee arthritis. My problem is with calling his office for an emergency appointment. I fell 2 weeks ago and injured my knee. I went to the ER and was told it was sprained. After 10 days with severe pain and inability to walk I called Dr Carpenters office to get an appointment. I explained my situation to the gal who answered the phone and was told I couldn’t get an appointment until May. Well thankfully I called UofM health and they got me an appointment in 2 days. I have a tibial plateau fracture and see their trauma orthopedic department Tuesday and may need surgery. I can’t imagine if I had waited until May what might have happened.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
