Patient Reviews
Aug 21, 2016
I AM A PATIENT WITH 11 STENTS WHO HAD 20 ANGIO'S TO RESOLVE MY RE-STENOSIS PROBLEM AT SCRIPPS IN LA JOLLA AND AT CEDARS SINAI. DR. DON WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME FOR HIS EXPERTISE IN BRACHYTHERAPY. AFTER VISITING HIM, HE NOT ONLY RESOLVED MY RE-STENOSIS PROBLEM (STABLE FOR TWO YEARS), BUT HE ALSO PLACED A STENT IN AN ARTERY THAT OTHER DOCTORS CLAIMED COULD NOT BE DONE. UNLIKE OTHER PHYSICIANS, HE PERIODICALLY SENDS ME EMAILS TO MAKE SURE THAT I AM DOING WELL. HE IS AN EXTRAORDINARY PHYSICIAN.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
