I'm pretty sure Dr. Barton, Nora, and the ketamine protocol saved my life. I was first diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 12 years old, in the late 1970s and I've been treated with pharmaceuticals and therapy off and on since then - with some good effects and a lot of side effects. The relief I experienced from the first dose was more immediate and impactful than anything ever before. At almost 57, and despite what I've achieved professionally and personally, I don't really have the coping skills to function and external stressors put me in a tailspin. The 6-session ketamine protocol got me healed enough to want to actually show up as myself in the world. I've needed monthly boosters to get me recentered and I'm fine with that bc it works so well with no discernible side effects.I've got lots of work to do, and Dr. Barton and Nora are part of that, along with the rest of my care team. If it works it works - it's where you start and there for you when you need it to continu
