I’ve been a patient of Dr. Carothers for 9 years - I’ve always been very pleased with his level of knowledge, thoroughness, and attention. The allergy shots I had with his office massively improved my life by stopping my constant ear and adenoid infections and my ongoing allergy symptoms. He identified the weird feeling & swelling I had in my mouth when I ate salmon as a potentially life-threatening allergy, so I now carry an epi pen. He also identified a potentially life threatening allergy I have to a certain tree, so I am now very careful (and stay covered) when hiking in the woods. I am extremely grateful for everything he has done for me. My husband also saw him once for his sinuses - we were thinking he would need a procedure to combat his constant sinus issues but Dr. Carothers said it wasn’t necessary and just prescribed a med for him to take as soon as he feels it coming on. FWIW - Specialists are brainiacs, they’re never super friendly like GPs and pediatricians.
