We met Dr.Gavrilla after we lost our first baby due to Cervical Incompetence. In first appointment with Dr.Gavrilla he explained to us why the loss happened and how a Cerclage will help me to carry baby full term and the type of Cerclage he will be placing (Shirodhkar). I would highly recommend meeting Dr.Gavrilla and establishing care before pregnancy itself if you are someone diagnosed with incompetent cervix. As someone who has been through a loss we had way too many questions and was skeptical about a lot of things, Dr Gavrilla understood this completely and explained everything in detail. He never discounted any of my symptoms or concerns. He takes care of your whole well being during pregnancy and answers questions regarding anything - be it diet , exercise or supplements. I was able to carry my baby full term , my Cerclage was removed on 37th week and I vaginally delivered my baby on 39th week.I didn't have to restrict myself from anything. The follow up appointments after Cerclage every two weeks was very reassuring. His team was also good, always respond to message , coordinated well with the OB team, sends the report exactly in time and never had any delays. If I have to do it again, without a doubt it will be under Dr.Gavrillas care.He brings in the empathetic value thats hard to find in doctors these days.I don't have enough words to praise Dr.Gavrilla.
