Dr. McDonald was my anesthesiologists on Jan 15 2020. He called the night before we had a nice chat that made me extremely comfortable as I was extremely nervous about the surgery and being intubated. I shared that I had a poor experience waking up years ago. He came in prior to surgery to chat. Made sure I wasn’t nauseated and was so kind. He was the first person I remember waking up and he told me I was ok. I believed him. I felt great waking up and am so deeply grateful for his care and attention. Thank you for being a part of the medical team that gets me one step closer to being cancer free

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
