We unfortunately had to take our 4 year old to the ER, but we fortunately had the pleasure of meeting Dr. McKinney. He was so kind, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, but what struck us more was he was “ human”. He understood and allowed me to be worried and upset about my daughter being sick. He spoke to me with kindness and so I could understand what was going on, rather than all the medical terminology that so many doctors use. I hope to never have to see him again in the ER, but if I have to go back, one day in the very far future, I hope to be met by Dr. McKinney and his kindness.
