Patient Reviews
Oct 10, 2024
I found him online for his speciality in seizure disorders. Turns out, I don’t have one. However, I poured out my entire history to him in his office and he told me he thinks I have a very rare autoimmune condition that he doesn’t specialize in. He was right. Less than 2 weeks later, it started to attack and I needed immediate attention to save my life and my vision. Dr. Orozco called me on a Friday afternoon, ensured me that the ER was where I needed to be and told me he was on call all weekend and to have the ER doctor call him to discuss my health. I wasn’t seen by the ER doctor until midnight, but he talked him into admitting me to the hospital. When the hosp. Neuro wasn’t doing enough, Dr. Orozco stepped up, advocated for me, ordered my meds to go home and set a plan in motion for me. If not for him, I very well could’ve been blind the rest of my life. He might seem distracted in the office with his cell phone and bag, but that’s because his brain is working overtime for you.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
