In the early 90’s I was a patient of Dr. D Whitesides. I wish I could’ve written a review way back then. The first time I saw him was from a reversal from another “specialist” in Charlotte. He actually saw me the same day I was referred. Before going to an exam room he invited my husband and me into his office. When he saw how much pain I was in he immediately asked his nurse to bring me 2 Tylox. For people that experience pain, you know how I felt. I knew I had found my doctor. He continued to treat me and soon my husband and I started our fertility journey with Dr. Whitesides. It’s was a rocky one with many visits. His compassion never waivers. I never felt like a burden, no matter how much I needed him. Eventually I needed a hysterectomy, but a few years later adopted a baby in 1994. I cannot remember one bad or awkward moment. I continued to see him until his practices was so large and mostly for infertility. I think about his kindness , patience and compassion often.
