I have hereditary MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) and Dr. Fisher was my anesthesiologist on 4/23/20 I arrived to the pre op suite in Mast Cell release, Dr. Fisher told me that she had researched my rare disease and consulted with my surgeon the night before. Dr. Fisher administered the correct corticosteroid intravenously that controlled my mast cell release which prevented me from going into anaphylaxis and my surgery was a success. Thanks in great part to Dr. Fisher. She reassured me that I would be okay and I was and continue to be okay.
