Dr. Borello was my obstetrician for my third pregnancy. In my 8th month, I suffered a partial placental abruption (malformed placenta). Dr. B broke my water and an hour later the contractions began. Or I should say 'contraction'. One contraction, titanic, which lasted for about an hour and a half. Dr. Borello got us through. His palpable confidence helped me to not be frightened. The next day, he sat on the edge of my bed and drew pictures to explain to me what happened! I kept him as my gynecologist for many years after and considered him a luxury in my life.
