Kaiser hit the jackpot when they retained Dr. Minkunas!! After months of fighting to obtain a geriatric psychiatrist for our Mom, we were finally blessed with Dr. Minkunas. He has helped navigate the process of vascular dementia, that afflicts our Mom, by being incredibly KNOWLEDGEABLE of the disease, DILIGENT in his method of treatment and most importantly, COMPASSIONATE to both our Mom and our family. He truly is jewel in today's grossly impersonal health care industry. He's taken the time to know our Mom, learn her situation and he works effortlessly with her memory care facility, all the while keeping us updated of her disease's progession. Truly a on of a kind physician. I'd give 10 stars if I could!!
