I have trigger finger. Dr Alvarez injected a steroid to reduce tendon swelling. If the shot does not work, surgery will be next step. My only comment is that my finger became completely numb. I wish he had warned me. Feeling returned after several hours, but since I wasn’t prepared for the numbness, it was worrisome.
