I met with Dr. Nover while visiting a psychiatric NP at the same practice. I was on a psychiatric medication for over a decade and was eager to taper off. Dr. Nover provided guidance and encouragement to navigate side effects from discontinuing the medication. Dr. Nover was patient and knowledgable and I felt as though he genuinely took his time in talking with me and the NP discussing my care plan. I felt included in discussing my plan and my thoughts and preferences were largely considered in the decision making; it's so hard to find a psychiatrist willing to listen to your concerns. Dr. Nover and his team are a gem; thank you for all of your help and guidance!
