Patient Reviews
Mar 08, 2020
Dr. Pesola of UP Health Marquette is a compassionate and talented intervention cardiologist. In early March, he performed a heart catheterization on me. Before the procedure, he realized I was anxious and explained why the diagnostic tests results warranted the procedure. He treated my anxiety with empathy, and then performed the procedure. He and the competent cath lab staff made the experience comfortable. I left there asking myself why I had been so worried. I also left with a deep sense of gratitude for such a fine physician in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Thank you, Dr Pesola.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
