Patient Reviews
Feb 27, 2024
Dr. Adams diagnosed my father with CJD within 5 minutes of meeting him. While he didn’t disclose his diagnosis, he admitted my dad into Columbia Presbyterian , where he worked at the time, and told my mother that he would do everything in his power to prove that it wasn’t what he thought it was. A brillant and compassionate man he treated my dad with such respect, care and dignity it overwhelmed us. He was the doctor that all the neurologists at Columbia took the rare cases to. Knowing how difficult anything neurological is to diagnose….he has seen it all. Hearing that your father is going to die quickly of this horrific disease was hard enough, but it was a comfort that the death sentence was given to us by this incredible man. My dad died in 2007 10 days after we brought him home. Dr. Adams has kept in touch with my mother for all of these years. Anyone who is lucky enough to have him for a doctor is truly blessed.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
