Patient Reviews
Jan 08, 2020
Dr. Bachman has been my ophthalmologist for most of my life, beginning in the 1980s, when he was referred to me by my endocrinologist for treatment of diabetic retinopathy. Over the decades, he was consistently competent, courteous and attentive. He took time to listen and great care to explain. His attitude was always positive and encouraging, no matter what the particular findings of that visit. He was diligent about reporting to my endocrinologist and always offered to do the extra, little things that make a positive difference in the patient experience. I also appreciated that in more than 30 years, I never had to sit more than 5 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment. And, of course, I'm grateful to him for helping me maintain good eye health during 45 years of type 1 diabetes. I am sorry to see him go, but wish Dr. Bachman a very happy retirement.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
