Dr Best was the on call in the emergency room when was I was a teenager brought in after my car accident The damage was from the impact to my face from the steering wheel , before airbags. My tongue was almost severed off, broken nose, part of my lip was missing , the maxillary labial frenulum was severed, right cheek bone was broken and penetrated my right nostril , and my bottom teeth punctured my bottom lip . Terrified ,after my Dad walked in and stated , “ It’s okay honey you will look normal again. Dr Best showed compassion when describing my injuries and giving options for treatment.. He allowed me to weigh in on the treatment decision for my broken cheek bone. I opted out of having it repaired. Even though he had no idea what the outcome would be but if repaired I would have a scar down the right side of my face. To this day I’m Thankful I had the choice. Dr Best enhanced my life . Without his skills I would not be able to speak and be deformed. He’s the Best choice!!!!
