Patient Reviews

I’m quite sure these two negative reviews are for a different doctor. Dr. David White, formerly with Duke but now back at UNC is a well known, well respected and beloved doctor. He is incredibly smart and experienced and provided me with the best possible care during my bout with lung cancer. Dr White is genuine, listens to your questions and concerns and has a humble, easy going personality. He has done thousands of surgeries with excellent outcomes and is trustworthy, kind and is known as the top thoracic surgeon in Raleigh . This guy saved my life .

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
