Five hip surgeries in NYC trying to fix a botched total hip replacement by a top doc at Hospital for Special Surgery left me incapacitated and in horrible pain, just barely surviving on pain meds. Dr. Lewallen examined me, gave me three options. I asked, “Number 2 ... tomorrow?” I’m now back home with just a little discomfort. Sometimes — albeit rarely — miracles do happen. Thank you for giving me back my life, Dr. Lewallen!
