My husband was admitted in UK Neuroscience unit in Jan.2022 with a severe case of a rare form of hydrocephalus(low pressure).And there’s not a lot you can do for this type.If not for Dr.Dornbos,I don’t feel like my husband would be with me now.He did a shunt placement and it still wasn’t enough to help him.He needed his ventricles to pump faster to keep the csf he was producing moving faster so pressure wouldn’t be on his brain.So,we go back to icu for the drain to be placed again with the shunt to help train his ventricles.We finally came home in April.But we were back the last of May for a revision on the shunt.And Dr.Dornbos went through extra lengths to save my husband.And on top of all of that work.He is a caring kind and all around wonderful human being that is highly intelligent in what he does.I would give him a billion stars not just on here.But from the sky.With all this being said.After 4 surgeries 4 EVDs and a year later.He’s doing great!!Thank you Dr.Dornbos!!
