I feel very lucky to be under his care. In my 40 years of dealing with mental illness I have had several psychiatrists, none with the wonderful "bedside manner" and the genuine compassion shown me by Dr. Shevitz. He got my meds straightened out very quickly, and he makes necessary changes when I report any problems. He listens. And he hears me. And he takes the time to get a complete picture. I think he's awesome!
