I had an appendicitis 4/10/2015 Mother's day. I was lucky to have Dr. Martin to remove it by laparoscopy. I recovered in 8 hours. There was cancer cells in the appendix, so I had Laparoscopic Hemi colectomy and Left oophorectomy on 7/22/2015. I went home after 3 days in the Huntington hospital. I was declared free of cancer by Oncologist Dr.Cynthia Martel. No radiation or chemo was needed. I was so relieved. Thanks to Dr. Martin for the 2 successful laparoscopic surgeries.
