Patient Reviews
Feb 24, 2021
I'm an MD who lives outside of the Eugene area, but felt the surgical expertise offered in the Eugene-Springfield area exceeded that of the smaller town that I live in. I first became acquainted with Dr. DeHaas after getting opinions about surgeons in the Eugene-Springfield area from colleagues who recommended several surgeons, including Dr. DeHaas. My wife and I brought our adult son to Dr. DeHaas for consultation about an abdominal hernia that was growing in size, and had been giving him increasing problems with entrapment and episodes of severe abdominal pain. Dr. DeHaas took his time, thoughtfully explained everything well, and proposed surgical repair, which was later done in a day-surgery procedure at RiverBend. The surgery was a complete success, with rapid healing, and no problems afterward. I too, became a patient of Dr. DeHaas for an abdominal hernia of my own more than one year later, and had great results as well. I strongly recommend Dr. DeHass without reservation.
