Patient Reviews
Apr 26, 2018
My previous rheumy referred me to Dr. Fernandez when my insurance company dropped him. I was highly upset and disappointed at losing someone that I had grown to rely on as my doctor (He was my third). Upon meeting Dr. Fernandez, I knew that I was in very capable hands. He's professional, thorough with his examinations, knowledgeable, attentive, responsive when I call, and most importantly he listens to me! It's difficult to find a rheumatologist with all of these qualities.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
