Patient Reviews
Dec 30, 2023
I was a patient from 1970 through the late 1980s. I had been told by other doctors that my congenital glaucoma was untreatable and that I was going to go blind. Dr. Walton took my case, operated within weeks, and saved my vision. It was a long road, many surgeries, but he never gave up. I'm now 56, 53 years after I was suppose to be blind, and I can still see 20/20 on a good day. I was able to graduate with advanced degrees, marry, have a career, children, and now grandchildren. While some of that might have been possible without my vision, he certainly made it much more possible. I could never thank him enough. He was a friend to me and my parents. I will ever hold him in the highest esteem.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
