As a new mother, and first year medical student Dr. Springer was the best pediatrician I could have chosen. His patience, kindness, and the time he spent helping me become a confident new mother was priceless. I remember my concern that she wasn't rolling over at the appropriate time. He gently said, do you let her out of your pack? I sheepishly said no. He said, no worries, let's try it. He put her down, she rolled over. He said, all over the world moms carry their babies in packs. :)
