Patient Reviews
May 09, 2023
My husband is type 1 (diagnosed juvenile) diabetic, he was complaining to another ophthalmologist for YEARS that something wasn't right; they kept brushing it off, insisting it was fine, couldn't find anything wrong. We sought a second opinion in Dr. Reid who began treatment for his diabetic retinopathy right away with eyelea injections. She answered all questions & explained treatment at length. He goes every 6-8 weeks or so for these injections & his eyesight has TREMENDOUSLY improved. I truly believe she saved him from going blind at 32 years old. Dr. Reid is SO COMPASSIONATE- He was terrified of these injections and she really put him at ease. Gives him ANY amount of time to prepare himself for the injections (NOT RUSHED) & enthusiastically shows us the comparison pictures each time we go. I'd rate Dr Reid 10/5 stars. Most of the technician staff is friendly, However, I often feel like I am annoying/a bother to the desk/reception area. But, in the end, we aren't there for them!!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
