Patient Reviews
Sep 20, 2024
When I was looking for a new cardiologist, I first interviewed Dr. Gaba at my GP's recommendation. After sharing the story of my background and interest in finding a new cardiologist, I found that Dr. Gaba is a great listener, has patience, a sense of humor, a great 'bedside' manner, and was more interested and knowledgeable about treatment options than my last cardiologist and the 2 that I had interviewed prior. The office, however, is troublesome. I am convinced that the office goes out of its way to dissuade people from calling in. Office 'hours' are M-F 9a-5p, but they close the office for lunch, and then they turn off the phones sometime (this is variable) around 4pm at which point the voice message is that they are closed (even though they are still open). When they are open and accepting calls, there is a full 90 seconds of intro message outlining essentially how to not use the phone system, before giving the directory options of automated mailboxes. Then you get to be on hold

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
