Although thyroid cancer is rare, Dr. Sloneker took nothing for granted and tested the nodule in my thyroid and diagnosed I did have Thyroid cancer - he did 2 surgeries. First to remove 1/2 of my thyroid, then again to remove the remainder after cancer was confirmed. Throughout the entire process he had a great bed-side manner: was very re-assuring, always informative, and his surgery skills are amazing. Even after cutting into my neck twice, there have been no issues, the scar is hardly noticeable and it's only been 6 weeks since the surgery. I would recommend him to everyone!
