Patient Reviews
Oct 04, 2022
In 1991, Dr. Russell found a melanoma mole on my back in an early stage that I was not even aware of, sent if for biopsy, and then surgically removed it with margins at an early stage when it turned out to be stage one melanoma. I was visiting his office for a totally different reason. He calmed my fears and sent me to the Huntsman Cancer Institute for bi-annual follow ups and to join a familial study. Turns out my biological mother had early stage melanoma, which I didn't know because I was adopted at birth, but later found my biological mother later in life. Let's face it, Dr. Russell saved my life over 30 years ago. Best of the best.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
