Dr. Derek Neiber is an absolute gem, and I can’t thank him enough for the incredible care he provided to my father. From the moment we met him, it was clear that Dr. Neiber is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also an incredibly compassionate and caring human being. In a world where it can sometimes feel like patients are just numbers, Dr. Neiber made sure my dad felt like he was his top priority.My father underwent surgery with a major post-op complication, and throughout the process, Dr. Neiber went above and beyond in every way. He has a wonderful bedside manner—calm, reassuring, and truly invested in his patients’ well-being. He took the time to explain everything in detail, answer all our questions, and make us comfortable with the decisions made.What sets Dr. Neiber apart, though, is the personal care he provides. After surgery, he visited my dad every single day in the Cardiac ICU —something I was told is incredibly rare. I highly recommend him for your loved ones!!!
