Patient Reviews
May 20, 2023
Dr. Reynolds performed knee replacement for me on Mar 8th. I have been doing very well since. After two weeks I started walking with no aid, ie. walker, cane, etc. , and no limp. I had home health the first couple of weeks, and started formal PT the 4th week. PT said I was way ahead of normal. When I finished my last PT on April 27th I walked out, got on my bicycle and went for my first ride. After 3 weeks of riding I'm up to 10+ miles. Why did things go so well ?, two things: Dermot did his job well, and I did my part well. That's what it takes for the best success, the Dr. to do good work , and the patient to go in to the surgery in the best shape possible, get stretched out and strong. Give Dermot a good body to work on and he will get the job done. Yes, as things keep improving and you keep doing more, it will create some aches and pain, and some fatigue, all part of the process.
