I saw Dr. Hilbert recently for my annual checkup (late because of COVID) after getting blood tests she'd ordered. Dr Hilbert took the time to be sure I understood the results of my labs. I also needed a recommendation to a UCSF department for an intractable issue, and she TOOK NOTES on the seriousness of my symptoms so she could write her rec. It can be quite difficult to be seen at UCSF, so I am grateful! Needless to say, UCSF called me to set up an appointment (rather far in the future, but that's how it works there).
