My husband had robotic mitral valve repair, along with some other procedures during the course of the surgery. The Dr. and his practice professionals outlined everything we would need to know prior to the surgery, and we had a very long list of questions. Sara Griffin, Nurse Practitioner, in particular, was amazing. She was very patient, supportive, guided us through the process both before, during and after the surgery. She is a major asset to this practice. Dr. Grossi and other surgical team were also wonderful in providing us with updates during the surgery. Dr. Loulmet is a world class surgeon with a world class team and we definitely knew we went to the right place for this surgery. My husband was walking around the hospital hallways by the morning after and came home 3 days later. Definitely a bit of recovery but far less than if he had full chest open surgery. The hospital staff all around, from every nurse all the way to the sanitation staff were amazing.
