After researching doctors that preform anterior hip replacement, I was considering Dr. Allen. Coincidentally, I ran into an old friend who had a failed knee replacement and was abandoned by his previous doctor. Dr. Allen confidently took him in without hesitation, removed and corrected the failed replacement with complete success. That was the confirmation I was looking for. Dr. Allen replaced my hip 3 months ago with complete success. In at 5:45am and home before noon. His associates were very competent and comforting. Dr. Allen was confident yet caring, I see a sincere joy in him when meeting for follow-ups. He is a fine person and a proven skilled surgeon. My advice for anyone considering replacement: be in your top physical condition, pray hard always and choose a skilled surgeon. I can highly recommend Dr. Allen.
