In 1987 Dr. Lange took over the practice of my original OB doc in Kirkwood,, and provided great prenatal care and delivered my first baby girl in 1987 at St. Joseph’s hospital. We were terribly poor, and tho I never recall mentioning that to him, he knew, and personally made sure we had formula to feed her for months. I don’t know what we would have done otherwise, and I would have never asked. Stress dominated our lives then, and while I was tearfully grateful I never had the chance to thank him. Life slowly got better, and my 5 kids are all grown now. That baby girl is a mom of 3, and I’m a grandmother of 6! Now a resident of Iowa, I just had a hysterectomy by another dear doc, who rid me of that old, unnecessary equipment. As I recover I think back to these knowledgeable, dedicated physicians who helped me at such a scary, yet happy time. I’ve been so fortunate to have such amazing physicians, and Dr. Lange was one of my first!
