In 2003, an MD client of mine recommended I see Dr. Elenz to solve my recurring 25-year swollen and painful bakers' cyst behind my left knee. Little known fact, Dr. Elenz's orthopedic training includes experience covering both the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Steelers professional sports teams. An MRI showed I had a torn meniscus on the backside of my left knee. Dr. Elenz performed my scope surgery, and my knee has been perfect now for 20 years. A few days after surgery, I remember my knee joint mobility was less than before surgery. Dr. Elenz and his nurse assured me that my post-surgery symptoms were normal and their physical therapy exercises were crucial to my full recovery. I performed their recommended knee exercises without deviation and my knee is perfect even today, 20 years later!
