Dr. Carpenter did surgery on me neck around 2014 after a car accident. I could not turn my neck in either directions. After the surgery, in a few days, I was able to turn my head again. In 2016, Dr. Carpenter gave me a whole new leaf on life. He operated on my back (with rods, pins, screws, cages, etc) and still to this day I an eternally grateful. I was able to go on with my life without pain. If I have to have another surgery on other discs I would find a way to get to his office from Virginia and have him do the surgery.
