One of my hero's! When I had an major episode of POTS while in surgery, Dr. Khoury stopped the surgery until he had me stabilized, which turned out to be major event. I woke up in recovery with him next to me holding my hand and telling me what had happened and what the strategy was going forward to get the surgery done without more problems. He had no difficulty with consulting with other areas of expertise (cardiology) to develop that plan with my surgeon. He constantly checked in on me.
