Patient Reviews
Jan 06, 2016
In 1994, when I was 25, Dr. Raker did a right subclavian thoracic outlet syndrome procedure. The prior surgeon in a smaller town told me I would loose use of my right arm in total, as the procedure included going through the armpit to reach the blood clot in my right shoulder. When I saw Dr. Raker, he was so reassuring, he said, son, I did this same surgery yesterday on a Seattle Mariner pitcher; he walked out of here the same day as did I. Now 47, I am so happy I saw Dr. Raker.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
