At my 1st appt, I had a list of questions which some doctors might have found insulting but not Dr. Aulisi - he spent a lot of time with me answering every question & discussing my condition. Before that appt with, I met with a number of neurosurgeons including one who said I had the worst case of spinal stenosis he had ever seen and that I should have surgery right away even tho I was not in any pain. Dr. Aulisi agreed with another SUPER Neurosurgeon - I should wait until I am in pain. Two years later I am still briskly walking 3-4 miles a day, taking a Stay Fit for the Future class three times a week and living my life knowing that Dr. Aulisi will provide excellent care when I need it. The staff was great, especially Tamika. The only problem I had was that it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to call the 202 # given for Dr. Aulisi on all sites under his name and get a response. I left a message and filled out a form on Medstar, but no response. It's a frustrating shame.
