Dr. Briggs was my anesthesiologist when I had cataract surgery on August 4, 2016. I have post polio syndrome and as a result of this affliction my neck is fused and in a relatively strange, angled position. I am unable to lie flat as well as my neck not being flat. Dr. Briggs relayed all of this information to the recovery room staff and he stayed with me the entire time I was recovering. I have had several surgeries over the years and NO anesthesiologist has been this caring and compassionate.
