Patient Reviews
Nov 08, 2016
Dr. Iskhakov is a hospitalist at Albany Medical Center. He's in charge of a ward of very sick folks. (Heart, liver, kidneys--seemingly everything.) Dr. Iskhaov was competent, caring firm but kind, balancing patient needs with hospital resources, ensuring the best treatment possible. He fought for me with the cardiology dept, ensuring I wasn't discharged prematurely. He's also a scifi fan, notably of Star Trek. And has an uncanny knowledge of Isaac Asimov & his works. :) Dr. Iskhakov is a mensch.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
