I became a patient at the UCSF WHP last summer after an unexpected change of circumstance necessitated a need for me to obtain a new provider before the imminent closure of St Marys Hiv & Aids Services Clinic was set to occur... And yet despite that uncertain start, after experiencing care at UCSF with Dr. Machtinger and all of the other staff here (which has been far superior to what I received before) I am actually feeling quite thankful that I now have this opportunity to be a patient here..
