Both my wife and I have had very positive treatment experiences with Dr. Smith. He listens to our concerns, is very positive and his medical expertise is outstanding. We have recommended Dr. Smith to our relatives and friends. If we did not like Dr. Smith so much we would have long since left Carolina Dermatology because of the front office. They don't answer the telephone, return messages or display good customer service skills once you manage to get through to them. Example, my wife and I had appointments on 3/12/20 and she had to cancel due to bronchitis while I wanted to keep my appointment. Their voice response system threatens a $25.00 charge if appointments are canceled without prior 24 hour notification and I $100.00 for some other transgression. I first called at 8:40 a.m. on 3/11/20 to cancel our 10:40 appointment on 3/12/20. No human contact, left detailed message, no return call. Further calls during the day without human contact. Finally at 2:45 a human, placed on hold!
