Patient Reviews
Jun 07, 2024
I was diagnosed with a heart murmur and diagnosed with Mitral Prolapse Syndrome. Dr.Sako and his team performed a number of tests to determine the best recourse. Turns out, I had severe regurgitation of the valve, but the heart was not damaged yet. During the diagnostic process, it was also discovered that I had an 80% blockage on one of the arteries feeding my heart. Dr. Sako performed Mitral Valve repair and a by-pass in the same operation. There was excellent communication during the whole process. All Dr. Sako’s staff were extremely courteous, pleasant, and did not hesitate to answer any questions I had.The ICU room and the main room I moved into later were very clean. All the hospital staff were very cleanliness aware and did everything possible to prevent infection.Anyone reading this should know Dr. Sako is a top notch surgeon who I highly recommend.I write this review at home, a week after surgery. I recovered well and was able to go home 4 days after the surgery.
