Einar has been working with me for several years. He is probably the world's best diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound-guided pain doctor. He implanted the Saluda Medical spinal cord stimulator in me, the first patient at Stanford to receive one. He has implanted 3 peripheral nerve stimulators. He answers questions personally in less than 24 hours most days using the Stanford app. He cares. Once, he came off of his vacation to address an urgent need I had. I am a complex patient with several fusion surgeries and implants. Even when I saw a pain physician at the Mayo Clinic, she knew of Einar because he taught her how to use his ultrasound techniques. She told me I was in the best pain doctor's hands. Einar works closely with my 2 neurosurgeons at Stanford to provide me with complete care. I have probably seen him a dozen times over 7 years.
