I saw Dr. Ley in January 2020 for breast augmentation. I had seen two other surgeons before getting my consultation with her, both of whom told me that because I have smaller than avg. areolas, that I would need to have under the breast incisions. During my consultation, not only did Dr. Ley recommend areola incisions, but she also helped me with every question I could possibly think of, thoroughly explaining the risks, recovery, procedure, and even her own experience, all while making me feel completely comfortable. The results of my procedure are amazing! Everything went exactly as planned; perfect shape, size, appearance, and very minimal scaring (and still fading). My experience with her has been everything I hoped for, from my consultation, to my procedure, to my follow up care. Also worth noting is how wonderful her staff are; they’re helpful, warm and welcoming. As a trans woman it can be very difficult to find quality care suited to my unique needs.
