Dr. Bluhm has been my doctor for several years now and I like her very much. She is genuinely kind, caring, and a good listener. However, as others have mentioned, it's the MFA GW system that is the problem. The doctors are overloaded, and the bureaucracy is cumbersome and inefficient. In fact, I know a nurse who quit her job at GW because she said the system was 'broken.' Just this afternoon I called Dr. Bluhm's office to request a referral for a follow-up mammogram. Not only didn't anyone pick up, but I wasn't even transferred into voicemail. The phone rang for five minutes straight, and then disconnected.
